Adjusting the Blade Pressure TipHere is a tip for adjusting the blade pressure for your SLICE™1. Begin by making sure your machine is turned off. 2. Turn the blade counter-clockwise using the wrench until the whole blade comes out (This is not always necessary, but may help with this issue). 3. Put the blade back in the socket and turn the blade clockwise as far as it will go without forcing it. ( try to make a cut with this setting first.) 4 . Try cutting a design. If it does not cut all the way through the paper, turn the blade a 1/4 turn counter-clockwise. 5 . Repeat step 4 until your design cuts all the way through the paper. Turning the blade clockwise decreases the blade pressure. Turning the blade counter-clockwise increases the blade pressure. Also, Please make sure that: 1. Your battery is fully charged or that your machine is plugged in. (when charging your machine, make sure that the little green light is lit on your charger.) 2. You have plenty of adhesive on your cutting mat. 3. You have a new, sharp blade in your machine. |
