Why is the SLICE™ unit not cutting all the way through the paper?
Solutions:
- You may need to adjust the blade pressure or replace the blade.
- You may be cutting on the wrong type of material. The SLICE™ can cut through paper, cardstock, vellum, thin vinyl, thin acetate and photos.
- You may need to clean the cutting mat and re-apply the adhesive.
- You may be losing battery power and need to recharge the unit.
- You may need to let the unit cool for a period of time.
Why is the design cut distorted?
Solutions:
- You may need to home the blade.
- You many need to clean the cutting mat and re-apply the adhesive.
- The unit may have moved during cutting. You need to lightly hold the unit during the entire cutting process.
Why does my SLICE™ unit not turn on?
Solutions:
- You may need to recharge the battery.
Why does my paper get wrinkled during the cutting process?
Solutions:
- You may need to make sure the paper is completely flat on the cutting mat prior to cutting.
- You may need to adjust the blade pressure or replace the blade.
- You may need to adjust the blade pressure or replace the blade.
- You may need to clean the cutting mat and re-apply the adhesive.
